One of my oldest and dearest friends and his wife ride the STP every year. This time on a tandem starting at 5 am U of Washington. Waking up at 1pm leaving at 3pm. I picked them up at mile 75 around 10am. Down they traveled to Portland through all the little towns and farm land in Southern Washington/Northern Oregon. So impressed!!! ONE DAY 205 MILES… Just mind numbing…… Of course they are at it again this year. Congrats Mait and Jessie!!!
